Island Music Songs

Every year in San Francisco Bay, a music festival called the Treasure Island Music Songs Festival is celebrated for two days in Treasure Island, California. Hip Hop, Rap and Electronica are performed for the first day, while Rock and Indie Rock are played through out the second day. Another Planet Entertainment and Noise Pop are the producers of the said event and it has been an annual event for three years now.

During its first year, the festival was celebrated on September 15 and September 16. The performers for the first day were Cut Chemist, Dengue Fever, DJ Shadow, Ghostland Observatory, Gotan Project, Honeycut, Kid Beyond, Kinky, M. I. A., Mocean Worker, Thievery Corporation, West Indian Girl and Zion-I. Then for the Rock and Indie Rock show, the lineup consisted of Au Revoir Simone, Built to Spill, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Earlimart, Film School, M. Ward, Modest Mouse, Sea Wolf, Spoon, Street to Nowhere, The Devil Makes Three, Trainwreck Riders and Two Gallants.

On its succeeding year, the first day performers included Aesop Rock, Amon Tobin, Antibalas, Cansei de Ser Sexy, Chester French, Foals, Goldfrapp, Hot Chip, Justice, Loquat, Mike Relm, Nortec Collective, The Frail, and TV On The Radio. For the second day, on the other hand, the performers were Dr. Dog, Fleet Foxes, John Vanderslice, Okkervil River, Or The Whale, Port O'Brien, Spiritualized, Tegan and Sara, The Dodos, The Kills, The Morning Benders, The Raconteurs, Tokyo Police Club, and Vampire Weekend, and the two day feast was celebrated on the 20th and the 21st of September.

Lastly, this year's annual Treasure Island Music Festival has just commenced recently, last October 17 and October 18 respectively and the performers for the two days were the Crown City Rockers, Brazilian GirlsDan Deacon, DJ Krush, Federico Aubele, Girl Talk, LTJ Bukem Feat. MC Conrad, Passion Pitm, MURS, MSTRKRFT, The Limousines, MGMT, and The Streets for the first day while Beirut, Bob Mould, Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros, Spiral Stairs, Sleepy Sun, Grizzly Bear, Thao with The Get Down Stay Down, The Flaming Lips, The Decemberists, The Walkmen, Vetiver, Tommy Guerrero, and Yo La Tengo performed on the second day.
